Whoo! First shot! I was shocked by the documentation Google released at this year's I/O conference, and now I've been tinkering with UI psd (WIP) for a while. I decided to make this simulated Instagram according to the material design guide. Some UX considerations:-The camera button is implemented as a floating action button that turns green when viewing someone's profile to indicate shooting in direct messaging mode. -I have moved my direct mail inbox to the tab bar. It doesn't make sense to me that this section is in the top bar of the current application while the rest of the application is in the bottom bar of the current application. Now, all the parts of the application related to communication with others are in one navigation scheme. Hopefully this also encourages exploring this part of the app, which I forgot because it sits outside the rest of the navigation-the introduction is placed in the upper right corner to get you into the second part of the app, which is about you-and there is no navigation drawer on the left because it is unnecessary and I don't understand hiding the actions you want people to take:) Enjoy!
